If you would still like to recieve a 2014 Race Shirt and Pin, or to fundraise with a team, please register for "Sleep in For the Cure" before October 12th.

All funds from the Komen Race for the Cure go to research, education, screening and treatment programs.
We want 4000 participants at the 2014 Race, so start recruiting your team now! We plan to raise $300,000 with this event and we need your help to reach our goal!
Our Race Registration Brochure and Race Registration form will be available later this Spring! Again this year the three most improved runners, based on their times, from the 2014 Freihofer's Run for Women to the 2014 Komen NENY Race for the Cure will get a prize.
Race Day Schedule
For the third year, children 10 and under can participate in an untimed fun run on the Empire State Plaza at 11:30am. The registration fee is $10.00 and a parent or guardian must complete and sign a waiver for each child participating and accompany them to the event. Children participating will receive a Race t-shirt, a special bib, and a finisher’s ribbon. This is a great opportunity to teach children about community service and healthy lifestyles. The distances are: 3 years and under--50 meters, 4-6 years--100 meters, 7-10 years--200 meters.
$25 for adults (Walk, 5K, Sleep In for the Cure)
$30 for adults at Packet Pickup on September 11 and September 12, 2014 at the Empire State Plaza
$35 for adults on Race Day
$10 for children under 12
Entry fees are non-refundable. No confirmations will be sent. The Race will be held rain or shine. All paid participants will receive a top quality commemorative Komen Race for the Cure t-shirt (subject to availability). Sleep In for the Cure participants will receive a special t-shirt via mail after the Race.

Postmark deadline for individuals: September 6, 2014
Postmark deadline for Teams: August 30, 2014
Register Online by end of day on September 5, 2014 for Teams and end of day September 10, 2014 for individuals.
Register at Packet Pick-Up on September 11 and September 12, 2014. Packet pick-up (t-shirts, chips and bib numbers) will be held at the southeast end of the Concourse in the Empire State Plaza, Albany from 11am-7pm. Teams must pick up on these days. (Individuals can also pick up t-shirts, chips and bib numbers on Race Day at the Registration Area at the southeast end of the Concourse in the Empire State Plaza.)
Register on Race Day, September 13, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
The Registration Area will be located at the southeast end of the Concourse in the Empire State Plaza. Race day 5K registration will end 30 minutes prior to the start of the co-ed 5K.
