Participating in the Susan G. Komen Northeastern New York Affiliate Race for the Cure® with a team multiplies the fun, the laughter and maybe even the tears that you share on Race Day. Rally around someone you know who was just diagnosed, someone who has fought the battle, or someone who may have lost the battle. Together, with your friends, family and co-workers, you make an even greater impact than you could alone.
TEAM REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 11:59PM ON SEPTEMBER 10th. YOU CAN ALSO REGISTER AT PACKET PICKUP ON 9/11 AND 9/12 OR THE MORNING OF THE RACE BEGINNING AT 7:30AM.
The Team Captain must register first and create the team before team members can join the team. A team is comprised of 10 or more individuals. Teammates can be friends, family members, co-workers, or anyone else who would like to join. Teams can also include folks who want to Sleep In for the Cure—this is a great way to increase the size of your team!
Mixed gender and mixed event teams are welcome. Each Team Captain should ensure that all team members complete an individual entry form and include their t-shirt size, team name, team captain name and phone number on each form. Individual entry fees should accompany each team entry and ALL team member forms should be mailed in ONE envelope to the mailing address on the entry form.
We encourage all Team Captains to register their team online. Each team captain can monitor the registration status of their team members through the online registration manager.

The deadline for team registrations sent via the US mail is August 30, 2014. Online registration for team members ends at September 5, 2014 at 11:50 pm. There will be NO team registration on Race Day. All team participants who missed the team deadline must register and pick up their packets as individuals.
A team representative must pick up the entire team's chips, bib numbers and t-shirts at Packet Pick-up on September 11 or 12th, 2014 between 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the southeast end of the Concourse at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.

Fundraising is Easy with Online Tools!
When you register for the Race you automatically receive your own fundraising website. Teams receive an additional Team fundraising page. Your Team page is a website that friends and family can visit to find a team member or give a donation that supports the fundraising efforts of the entire team. Personalize your Race fundraising website. Use it to tell friends and family why you participate in the Race for the Cure. You can even accept donations online, right from your fundraising website. To make your page more dynamic, upload a link to a video clip or activate the blog feature. All of this and more is waiting for your Team once you register for the Race! Team fundraising for the Race is easy with online tools!
