Try it On For the Cure
Coldwater Creek's "Try It On For the Cure" program was held Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Stuyvesant Plaza store in Albany.
For each person who tried on clothing at the local Coldwater Creek location, $1 was donated back to the Northeastern NY Affiliate. No purchase necessary! For those who tried on and bought, 10 percent of the total purchase price was donated. Coldwater Creek will make a minimum guaranteed contribution of $100,000 in conjunction with Try It On events this year.
Including our Race sponsorships, Coldwater Creek's donation to Komen for the Cure is now $4.6 million - and counting!
Harness the Hope
This exciting evening of racing, held at the Saratoga Harness Track, featured the all female cast of drivers from North America and Europe competing in two pari-mutuel races.

Wacoal's "Fit for the Cure" program was held Friday, Oct. 30 at the Macy's store in Colonie Center.

One Square Mile of Hope
On September 13, 2008 at Fourth Lake, Inlet, NY; a new world record was set for the largest canoe & kayak raft. The Guinness Book of World Records has certified that One Square Mile of Hope set the record for the world's largest canoe/kayak raft with 1,104 canoes & kayaks rafted together. The event raised over $50,000.00 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, to benefit breast cancer research.

BMW Ultimate Drive
On Sept. 17-18, 2008 the Keeler Motor Car Company and Capital Cities Imported Cars hosted the BMW Ultimate Drive, supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
For every person that test drove a BMW, BMW donated $1 to Komen for every mile they drove.
Threads of Love Quilt
The Threads of Love quilt was raffled off to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
