The Komen Northeastern New York Affiliate strives to fulfill Susan G. Komen for the Cure's mission in the communities within the our service area by raising funds through events like the Komen Northeastern New York Race for the Cure.
Up to 75% of net revenues remain in our service area and fund breast cancer programs targeted at the unmet needs of the medically underserved within our local communities.
A minimum of 25% of net revenues are contributed to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Award and Research Grant Program. The Komen Northeastern New York Affiliate's district includes the following counties: Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Washington, Warren, Montgomery, Hamilton, Essex, Clinton and Franklin. Komen Northeastern New York Affiliate Board members volunteer their time to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure mission and receive no compensation.
