2010 Corporate Sponsorship Packet (Word)

Corporate Sponsorship
Ranging in price from $2,500 to $20,000, Corporate Sponsorship Packages allow your company name to be associated with the Race prior to and during the event. Your name and company logo may appear on t-shirts, Race flyers, Race entry forms, and pre-event advertising based upon your level of sponsorship. On Race day, your message will reach an estimated 8,000 people via signage and booth space. The table on the other side of this page lists the benefits for each sponsorship level.

Media and In-Kind Sponsorships
The Race Underwriting Committee accepts in-kind goods and services on a case-by-case basis. In-kind goods and services must be items that the Race would normally pay for and use (food, water, or advertising). The level of in-kind sponsorship is available at all levels and your sponsorship will include benefits appropriate to such level.

Teams
Form a company team! It is a wonderful way to show support and boost morale! Some corporations pay for all or a portion of their employees'
entry fee, while other create additional giving opportunities by matching employees' entry fee or pledge dollars to show added support.

Targeted Sponsorship Opportunities
We've developed some targeted sponsorship opportunities designed for every budget. If there is something your organization would like to do for us, please contact us at (518) 250-5379 and we can find a solution for you!

Please note that targeted sponsorships do not include the same benefits as Race sponsorship -- targeted sponsorship benefits are described below.

Sleep In for the Cure Sponsorship
The Sleep In for the Cure program allows people who can't attend the Race to show their support by registering to Sleep In for the Cure. Sleepers register and receive a special t-shirt that can include the sponsor's logo on the back. Hundreds of people registered for this last year.

Finish Line Sponsorship
This option provides the opportunity to attach a business card or other small token to the Komen Race for the Cure[?] commemorative pin given to approximately 4,500 participants. The sponsor could also provide their own personnel at the finish line if desired and prominent signage at the finish line would also indicate sponsorship.

Save the Date Mailing
This option provides the opportunity to include your company name, logo and message on a 15,000 postcard mailing. Please note that the card must also include the Save the Date information for the October 3, 2009 Komen NENY Race for the Cure and the official Race logo. This mailing could also include a magnet or other item (subject to USPS regulations, of course).

Water Stations
Sponsorship of the water station along the Race course is the ideal opportunity for the smaller budget! The sponsor will be given prominent signage at the station and could staff the station with their own personnel if desired.

Other Sponsorship Options
Other options that provide great signage opportunities include sponsoring the very popular coffee table or the highly visible golf carts or the one truck that travels the Race course placing down and picking up cones.
